During the summer season St
Jean de Monts has all the trappings of a bustling beach town. As
a family you will never get stuck for things to do and see.
There are: tree adventure parks, horse riding centres, cycling,
rollerblading, forest walks, animal safari park, windsurfing,
sailing, canoeing, 18 hole golf, crazy golf, quad biking,
karting & water parks plus lots more.
In the old town you must
go to the daily market for super fresh local produce to cook
your self. The St Jean De Mont market attracts traders from far
and wide and our advice is to get there early.
There are lots of superb
restaurants in town from seafood and traditional French cuisine
to Chinese, Japanese and Italian. Children are always very
welcome and all restaurants have special Children's menu's to
chose from.
Nearby you will find the
towns of St Gilles Croix de Vie, Challans, & Noirmoutier en-ille.
A little further away you can take a day trip to Nantes, St
Nazaire, La Roche Sur Yon, Les Sables or La Rochelle.
St Jean De Monts is the
